Do I need to craft a vision crystal for each piece of heavy armor? Is there a good ascended crafting guid on the internet, I can’t seem to find one that is easy to understand. Thanks.

Only some pieces require the vision crystal. Others use the lesser vision crystal.

You only need a Vision Crystal for the chest, the 5 other pieces need a lesser Vision Crystal.
