OK, here is the situation: I have an level 400 artificer and he has already bought all the rare inscriptions the crafting master/vendor/trainer is selling. It say that this rare inscriptions are account bound, yet my other character who is a weaponsmith does not have them in his crafting window. And when I visit the weaponsmith trainer, he has all the rare recepies on sale and the weaponsmith character does not know them.

So my question is : aren’t this recepies SHARED to all characters you have on your account? And if so, why doesn’t my weaponsmith see the artificers rare recepies?

i think the recepies are character based, but so are the craft prossesions, but if you use both prefessions then why not craft the inscription on your artificer and use it on your weaponsmith.
although i havent done artificer the inscriptions on my weaponsmith are not account bound :-s

The inventory item that you buy from the crafting trainer is account bound. I.e. you can buy this recipe with one character, put it in the bank and then use it with another character.

Once you use the recipe from your inventory you will only gain the recipe for the character that used the recipe.

Character A has 10k karma while character B has 10 karma. Character B cannot afford to buy the recipe so character A buys the recipe from the vendor and puts it in the bank.

Character B then takes the recipe from the bank and uses it. The recipe is now learned on character B ONLY.

Hey, thank You both! I thought the recipes, once you learn them, are shared by all characters on your account. I mean when I was grinding around I found vendors for various recipes and bought them and used them even if my character didn’t have that exact craft. I guess with rare crafting ingredients it’s not the same. Anyway, thanks alot guys – I guess I will have to craft inscriptions for my weaponsmith by my artificer.
