I bought JC recipe from the vendor using karma to see if i can transfer it to my alt. When I looked at it, it was “account bound” so I figured all my character would benefit from it. But when I used the recipe, my alt didn’t learn the recipe. Also, I tried to find ways to transfer to my alt but I didn’t find any. From my and other players knowledge, I thought “account bound” is suppose to benefit any character in my account?

Account bound means you can trade the item to your alts, not that they all can use it. Soul bound means only the character that it is bound to can use it.

The change from soul bound to account bound allows you to buy the recipe with one character and stick it in your bank for your alt.

You can’t transfer it once it’s been used by one of your characters. You’ll have to purchase another one, then put it in your bank so one of your alts can pick it up.

A little confused here myself. I picked up a shield recipie while playin on my main and threw it in my bank. The recipie says account bound but my crafter cannot withdraw the recipie from the bank.
