Hi guys, I’ve bought Grow Lamp recipe and (I’m not sure of it) probably consumed it right after that, but this character doesn’t have a jeweler profession (I have another character for this profession and it should have been given the recipe). Does it mean I just lost 60 Geodes for nothing? Or is there anything I can do, maybe apart from leveling a jeweler on this character?

Only way to remedy your situation is to level jewelcrafting on that character or get a new recipe. Recipes are alway character bound when consumed.

Luckily jewelcrafting is one of the cheapest professions to level to 400. http://www.gw2crafts.net/jewelcraft.html

there are dozens of threads suggesting to change this to account-bound. If you support that idea, please respond to those so Anet will understand this problem.

Eh, I did something similar, teaching the Meaty Plant Food recipe to my chef and not my huntsman. In my case, though, it’s cheaper to just get another recipe.
