I believe Anet should introduce a Recipe to allow the promotion of Celestial pieces(weapons and armor) to Ascended pieces. Since each piece takes 5 days to make. All those people that made a full set of armor(which takes 35 days) will have done it for nothing.

Now, I understand that you can crit while mining the home instance node, but it doesn’t happen very often.

Wearing it while you work on your next set isn’t “nothing”.

I’m really not seeing a reason for favoritism for Celestial.

(what is the seventh piece you’re counting in there btw?)

I’d like the 7th to be underwater breather but I think he just made a math mistake.

I don’t think being time-gated should reserve Celestial the unique opportunity to be upgraded to Ascended. I just don’t get the connection there.

Well, if we look at past history, they didn’t do it for Celestial weapons. If we follow that to it’s logical conclusion I doubt they’ll do it for Celestial armor either.

Celestial was placed at a disadvantage in the first place, I mean, it does take 30 days to craft a full exotic set, what other stats combo take that long?
Im really hoping Anet could take the timegate off of charged quartz, but thats probably not happening given how easy quartz are to obtain.

But tbh it doesnt really matter. Right now to craft a ascended celestial dagger, ingots will take 8 days. Inscription takes 5. Assuming armor recipe is similar i dont really see this as a problem, given that quartz arent very expensive.(unless of course youre buying all the ascended materials)
