Runes from Mystic Forge = soulbound

You’re probably getting runes from an instance (such as noble), which are soulbound.

As my original post says, none of them are soulbound. I make sure to merch any instanced/soulbound runes I get.

Just depends on the rune that you get from the forge. The ones that are from dungeons are soulbound. If you like the runes guess you are lucky.. if not and wanted to try to make money unlucky.
What Kyo was saying is that it doesn’t matter if you put in soulbound or unsoulbound runes, the ones that come out can be either unsoulbound, or if you are unlucky and they are dungeon runes, soulbound. Seems you are just as unlucky as me
Some runes always drop as soulbound regardless of the method used to get them.

I thought the whole reason to USE the toxic toilet was to get items that are not soulbound.
The “chance” part is bad enough without throwing in that variable as well.
Runes from the MF that are (normally) purchased with Dungeon Marks (which when acquired this way are soulbound) are soulbound. Runes from the MF that are crafted/salvaged from drops are soulbound on use. What exactly is the problem?
For example:
Rune of the Mesmer = crafted = Soulbound on Use when acquired from the MF
Rune of Divinity = salvaged from drops = Soulbound on Use when acquired from the MF
Rune of the Orrian = purchased with Arah dungeon tokens = Soulbound when aquired from the MF
It would be nice if the dungeon runes from the MF were account bound instead, however.

All runes are “account bound”, it just requires a bit more work.
