Guild Wars 2

So I’m making a new set of armour for my missus as a tailor, and thought I might as well added in the Rune of Pirate that I made for her as well into each piece. Once I’m done, I realise I couldn’t mail them to her anymore but it’s still ‘Soulbound on Use’ tagged on the armour pieces. Is this a bug or does putting runes into armour really make it soulbound to you?

Any help/confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

(Screen shows the 5 armour pieces with runes in them, the last piece without the rune is in the mail)

Applying any upgrade(not just runes) will make an item Account Bound although the mouseover popup does not display this change. Equipping the item will make it Soulbound if the item rarity is Masterwork or higher.

when you added the rune, a pop-up should of appeared asking if you wanted to make the item soulbound. that’s what usually happens to me (even if the item was already soulbound…)
