Can you salvage celestial armor to get back the crystals or insignia?

Wondering this if for example, you decided you wanted to use the celestial gear on another character.

Is it possible to get back the crystals in anyway? Or are we just screwed, and have to wait another month for 30 more crystals?

Well you don’t get blood, bones, or any other mats when you salvage other items so my guess would be they are gone.

I would like to know this too. If I put Divinity Runes on my armor, and for whatever reason I want them off, is it possible to salvage the runes off the gear. If not, then please can you smart and talented developers of ArenaNet Fix this?

There’s nothing to fix. When you salvage a piece of armor, you get basic materials and upgrade materials (and the occasional ectoplasm). Charged Quartz is not either of those – it’s a fine material like blood vials and venom sacs – you never get those either, do you?
