Hi I’m trying to craft Satchel of Pillaging Outlaw Armor http://www.guildhead.com/recipe/1093606/satchel-of-honed-outlaw-armor

I have the matts, and im at lvl 113 leather working.

The matts don’t show up in discover panel, so i can’t discover them.

do you buys recipes ?

yes you must purchase the recipe for those

use the wiki it may have more info on where to buy

Actually, you don’t purchase the recipe… You craft it at the Mystic Forge.

To get the recipe, place the following in the Mystic Forge:
5x Bottles of Elonian Wine
20x Crystals
50x Mystic Coins
1x Pillaging Outlaw Coat

You should be aware that these are not really worth unlocking — the cost is insane for what you get.

what i’d like to know is to what extent you can make boxes and satchels. can you learn cultural armor, 42k karma armor? dungeon armor? this would be INCREDIBLY valuable if that’s the case.

Can you manually make the items one piece at a time? Or for things of that design, you HAVE to buy a satchel recipe?

You can make them 1 at a time but it takes more stuff. but consider what it takes to get the bulk recipe if your only making it from time to time just make the set 1 item at a time

It does NOT take more stuff to make them one at a time. The opposite is true. It takes almost twice as many mats to make a satchel; that’s on top of the insane cost of just getting the satchel recipe. They were intended to require the same amount of mats as making them individually, but someone goofed on the recipes. It’s apparently being looked at.

Bottom line: Do NOT bother with satchels ATM. Even once they’re fixed, they’ll only add a slight amount of storage benefit that you pay out the nose for so they’ll arguable never be worth anything more than suckering people out of hard-earned mats/gold.

The satchels are a complete waste of time and money. It is not hard to craft each piece individually. It costs tons of extra materials for the satchels, not to mention all the extra wasted money on getting the recipe itself.

There is no point to these recipes, unless they decrease the overall cost by a large margin.
