So do they ever plan on releasing the crafting pages again. Since 87g per item seems to be a bit ridiculous.

They will most probably add the Insignias to the Commendations Vendor, once Ascended Armor gets released. They have done the same with the Inscription to make Sentinel Stats available for ascended crafting.

That should bring the price down to under 10g.
