Are you for real, 99 lvl 80 rare gs into the forge and no exotic.

Luck is Luck, there’s no real point in crying over such, and its not a Mystic Toilet i find it to be fair to me. You knew you were shoving that many rares in to the Mystic Forge, and you knew there was no guarantee of an exotic. so what im seeing right now is someone mopping around because they just spent for nothing. and why MF 99 rares. a good exotic is around 3-7g and you just spent over 10g to get one. jsut to make sure were the rares 71 and higher, if not thats why you didnt get anything back

Nope, no nerf. RNG is RNG.

Today I spent 4 gold on rares (bought about 16 items) and threw them into the forge. I kept getting so many exotics back (and selling them for gold) that I ended up doing a total of 20 combines because I kept buying more rares.

4 gold got me 20 combines. I didn’t keep track of how many exotics I got, but it was probably around 6 or 8.

Taking the oft cited 20% chance to upgrade in the forge, the chance that you would observe a result as extreme as yours is 0.06%, or 1/1667. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No. You were just the poor guy who got the crummy result.

What, do you expect that the chance of a precursor increases with more tries?

I’ve thrown over 300g worth of GS but I stopped back in November. I learnt my lesson and just outright bought the precursor or get it to drop.
