Guild Wars 2

It seems to me like a lot of trouble, will it pay off? Is it really needed? Will it help while leveling, and finally is it good for making end game items? I dunno if i can choose more than 1 crafting skill, i chose to mine, so i ll be working with blacksmithing or armorsmithing (how its called) I am engineer so give me some advices to change crafting skill anyway thank you
P.S. i am only 8 lvl, fairly new to the game..

It’s a money sink — you’ll be more wealthy if you gather and let someone else do the crafting.

But it’s good for a lot of xp, some people find it fun, and it’s another dimension of the game to explore.

If you’re at all on the fence about whether to do it, hold off til you’re rich, and let your guildmates do the crafting for you. If you supply them with mats, they’ll happily make you stuff.

Crafting is essentially a mini game.. You can play within the PVE and PVP parts of world without ever having to pick up a crafting profession.

It is an added immersion element that’s provided by Anet to make the game more enjoyable for those players that really enjoy crafting (like me).

Again, it is not necessary to enjoy the game.

My personal recommendation is to pick one crafting profession and enjoy the gaming mechanics that are provided therein. Do not approach crafting with a "must have’ mindset.
