Right now, I don’t think leveling more than 2 disciplines in a single character is worth the effort. Why? Pretty simple:

-Maximum active disciplines: 2
-Changing between high level disciplines: too expensive

Well, making new characters could help, but that kills the replayability of crafting, in my opinion. If I want to level all of them in the same character, I should be able to without punishment.

This could be fixed easily. Some examples:

-Buy crafting slots on the gem store, which let you have more than 2 active crafting disciplines.
-Require karma instead of gold to switch between disciplines.

Well, what do you think? It’s fine as it is? Needs to be improved?

hm, you can level up 2 discipline than switch them to another 2 with payment 10 cooper per level so… for new 2 discipline you need only 10 cooper. But yeah when you level up them all you will need pay 40 silver for switch. But i think when you max them all 40 silver will be for you like 10 cooper so it’s stupid.

P.s. Sorry for My English.

I think the system works pretty well the way it is. Crafting is for alts, IMO.

I really like the idea of buying additional crafting “slot” for gems, for convenience or to let someone feel more special. Obviously ANet has to store the info what recipes you know on inactive crafts, so the info must be readily available.
