I have tons of silk that I want to upgrade to gossamer in the Mystic Forge. I have looked up the recipe on Wiki and followed it to the letter. I doesn’t work. When I put in 250 scraps of silk, 1 scrap of gossamer, and 5 philosopher stones ALL the glitter in my inventory grays out and can’t be added. At the time I do this I have ALL tiers of glitter in my inventory and they all gray out. Could someone please tell me the EXACT formula for doing this, ie how many of what ingredient to add to do this. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

The recipe is 250 Silk, 1 Gossamer, 5 Piles of Crystalline Dust, and 5 Philosopher’s Stones.

Always works for me, try switching the order you place them into the forge. Otherwise, clearly bugged but not sure of the solution.

even if it grays out, drag it in. and you’ll see MF will accept them.

Thanks guys…I put the dust in first and it worked fine, however I was extremely disappointed. Out of all that i only got 18 scraps of gossamer!!!!!!! i will never do that again. I can get more than that in an hr of farming cursed shores. The silk i can sell for a ton of cash on TP. They need to do a serious fix on the drop rate from the forge for these kinds of upgrades. Honestly the more i play this game and try the fun stuff, the more disappointing it is becoming.
