So I decided awhile ago that I was going to get The Juggernaut for a legendary weapon. After farming a bit and getting most of the other gifts (still missing 12 clovers) i noticed that i only had 2 silver doubloons and i needed 250. At first I though no big deal i can just find some mobs to get them. That was about 3 weeks ago and I’m only up to 15. I want to avoid buying a large amount from the TP so any tips on how to get them would be great.

Well I do know that a Character around level 20ish has a good chance of finding them in a jumping puzzle. I remember cause my warrior was getting one almost everyday until he hit level 30.

lower level jumping puzzles would be my best guess. I think my friend said the ones in caledon forest were giving him a couple every day or so.

Actually It can be any JP ,so long as the dude stays level 20ish. I’d say stay level 22 for safe measure. Park that Character In LA and when the Dailies reset have at it.

Also Tier 2,3 loot Bags from Bandits and Pirates seem to have a chance of dropping them.

You can always buy a lot of pebbles on the tradepost and us the mystic forge to get some.

This is true. And you get these from skritt that are level 40ish. There is one zone that has a cave of them but I forget exactly where. It may be blazeridge steppes or iron marshes…. All i remember is is on that side of Tyria on the east side of whichever map.

All of the doubloons are a leveled ‘jewel’ drop from chests (and other things) if you are of the appropriate level. You should get a doubloon from any chest that can give level 80 stuff or if the chest is at or above the level of the doubloon you’re looking for as long as you are at the level of the doubloon and before the next one.

Yes, All chests have 2 drop loot. One is within your character’s range and the 2nd is within the Zone’s range. We all know this because Im sure we loot chests in lower level zones and sometimes we get level 80 drops and sometimes we get starter zone level gear. To make this 100%, park an alt at the right level zone jp at the right level. And yes, some people will be mad at me or us for giving away some good secrets, lol.
