Ideally a lvl 20-ish jumping puzzle I can park a few alts at?

Remember that DR kicks in with chests, so you’ll occasionally have to move around.

I have had success with Shaman’s Rookery and Troll’s end. Anything with a chest at the end will do.

Your level doesnt matter but the tier of gemstones you use.
For JPs, your level matters, not the level of the zone the JP is in.

The character doing it can be any level as long as the nuggets or lumps (or even the low level Marks) are no higher than level 20 when you throw them in.

If the Pirate JP in LA is still available, that will be the best one to get your alts to as it has 4 loot rewards rather than the usual 3.

I ran the Pirate one a few days ago and I died 3 times (finally used a revive orb). I don’t know if i was just out of practice (had not run it in a while) or they have made the slide down into "Chompy"s pool more likely to kill you. It appeared to me they had changed the timing on the spiked hallways as well, but again, I had not run it since before Wintersday started.

There are 3 JPs in LA to do Troll’s End has a few very frustrating sections and is a bit longish but the one behind to Ogre in the far EAST cave is quite simple and very quick.

Mystic Flushing Nuggets and Marks also has a chance of generating SDs.

The slide is definitely bugged. I ran it about 20 times yesterday and the only time I made it was when I retraited to reduce fall damage.

Pre Battle for Lion’s Arch, I ran it all the time and never got killed on the slide.

Park level 22-25 alts at the Pirate JP and open the chest every day. I used to park like 10 there and open them every day but I got bored & since dubloon price dropped I stopped…

Average yield I would say around 2 dubloons per day (for 10 alts) give or take. Also good to get some lower level materials from salvaging the armor/weapons you get.

If you use level 20 you get copper dubloons so make sure it is at least 22.

21 works. Both my Ranger & Engineer are 21. You are right with 20 giving Copper Doubloons though.

I started at 20 (used a scroll and new char slot) and opened all 3 LA chests everyday on that character for over 4 months. NEVER got a copper doubloon (maybe I just got lucky in opening nearly 300 chests?)

I did the same for my 2 characters. 20 didn’t work – I got copper. So I had to manually level 1. Why else would I get to 21 if 20 worked?
