They are honestly TOO rare. I’ve gotten maybe 10 farming jumping puzzles in the last month. Been watching them slowly climb up in price on the TP, currently <300 available at 75s each. Seriously? That’s kitten near the requirement for a single Juggernaut

I know I CAN make them. There are several mixes that can produce them. And yes it’s tedious, but it’s also crazy cheap.

Oh ok didnt think you were talking about throwing them in the mystic toilet. But yeah you are right that you can make them but it is just a chance to get them not really making them with a recipe….. hope we can do this one day like a way to upgrade copper to silver.

I remember throwing the pebbles, for 4000 pebbles, it gave something like 23 doubloons. You make profits, but you waste countless hours that you could have made more gold.

I used to park 3 character at LA jumping puzzle, and my brothers helped me. It gave me a nice 3-4 doubloons everyday from doing nothing. Bought the rest.

Be careful for flipper, dont buy them at 0,80-1,00 Gold, i know some people who buy 200-300 of them and them just put them all for 1 gold.

I believe that the Marks (level 20) can also be thrown into the Forge for a chance at them. Still, purely out of logic I think that Copper Doubloons SHOULD be able to be transmuted to Silver ones.

Some Bags of Loot also contain them, i opened 10 stacks of 250 yesterday and usually got 1 doubloon per stack.

Got one from 1,000 Light Bags of Booty the other day to test. I might just be very unlucky. It wasn’t all bad though since I was still able to mostly break even with the cost of the bags. It just involved too much clicking.

200 attempts in mystic forge to get only 12 doubloons..

550 doubloons at tp.. the last a more than 10 gold.. ridiculous

I’d find it rather amusing if the Sep 3rd patch changed it so that you now require PLATINUM Doubloons instead of Silver Doubloons for the Juggernaut.

If you check the price inflation for Platinum Doubloons for today, somebody propably thought the same.

However, as Platinum Doubloons also give magic find, my guess would be that they will switch it with another item entirely or just switch the stat on the silver doubloon.

I believe they already confirmed that Magic Find upgrade components (jewels, medallions, sigils, runes, etc.) will be changed to have new stats.

They won’t changed requirement to platinum ones. You need to make Vial of Quicksilver, not quickplatinum.

Quicksilver is an archaic term for mercury, which has nothing to do with real silver either. And what do Steel Ingots have to do with Quicksilver? Because it’s shiny and silver-looking? If so, Mithril Ingots would serve just as well.

Obviously Chest drop tables got bugged by these stupid Living Story tickets…

Those few vials of quicksilver that get made per day wouldnt have any influence on the mithril price, if you would use mithril instead of steel.

I craft thousands of mithril ingots every week, but i only made 1 vial of quicksilver in a year.

-JP lvl 20ish Chest drop
-random pebbles trown in forge
-random drop from pirates/skirtts – lvl 20ish you and them tho
-random (rare) drop from certain bags

But overall yes, they’re a huge PITA to get.

I got lucky (made my Juggy lately) cause prices crashed down to 40s for a couple of days after champ update, bought them there. Now they’re high again.

Overall, i know it’s not nice and it’s the obvious solution but….farm gold and buy them.
Seriously, the drop rate of those, from every source, is too low, to farm them by yourself.
