Is this a thing yet? I know Legendary weapons can select Sinister stats but I’m wondering if we can craft this stuff.

I don’t think it’s a thing yet, but there is no reason not to have it. After all, Nomads made it to ascended, so logically it should be able to be crafted.

As far as i know, the ascended items are datamined already, so i guess they will be introduced later during season 2.

Charged Sheets of Ambrite are basically available at vendor value (of the needed crafting mats) right now. So if you plan on crafting ascended (or exotic) sinister gear, I would buy some now, if you want to circumvent the timegate on charged quartz.

I hear they’ll come next… kinda like Carrion trinkets.

I actually was under the impression that the charged sheet of ambrite needs a regular sheet and 1 charged quartz and not 5 ambrite and 1 quartz, as it does.

So basically the Charged sheet is NOT available at crafting value.
But between 10-15s still a steal. People just used their excess charged quartz from ToT bags and the flood of ambrite to use those sheets to level crafting, so the profit you make per charged quartz is under 10s.
Crafting a grow lamp every day gives you more than 1g per charged quartz, so i dont know why people use theirs for charged ambrite.
I think charged quartz will get more uses with coming updates, so i rather hold on to mine or use it for grow lamps. The profit i would get to use 10 charged quartz for the lamp would enable me to buy charged sheets worth 65 charged quartz.

It remains to be seen, how much charged quartz drops from wintersday gifts this year and how much more useful/profitable sinks they introduce along the way.

“Verata’s” was the datamined ascended version of “Sinister” but the recipes haven’t made it into the game as yet.

Perhaps with tomorrows patch? We’ll see.

Oooh, Verata’s? As a GW1 vet who has fond memories of randomly stumbling across Verata and his army and stubbornly refusing to leave until I killed them all, I approve!
