It was 2 in the morning and I decided to gamble a bit… Bought 4 shaman etched weapons to test my luck, forgetting Dusk was unequipped, I threw the first four I see into the forge since they all have the same icon and poof now nearly 2 weeks of progress gone. A rollback or replacement would be lovely, since this really hammered on the whole continuing to play thing…a response from Anet would be nice.

Heh sad part was I already got the karma, clover, and most of the mats to make twilight except for icy runestones. But yea… I’m done with this if customer support won’t do anything about it. Granted it was completely my fault but still…

I’d expect Anets response will be ……..Dear customer, we are sorry….but…..no………you can always buy gems with cash in our store which can be converted into gold with which you can buy a new Dusk in the TP.

Out of interest, why should customer support replace something you gambled away on the forge? This wasn’t due to a bug or any kind of glitch in the system, it was 100% down to you being careless.

They’ve posted over and over again that they can’t currently replace lost items anyway. But if they could, you’d be in the queue behind all the players who lost items due to being hacked etc.

It’s a shame what happened, but it was ‘your’ fault. As you wrote in the first post, you wanted to test your luck.. You did.. It sucked

Could have been worse.

You could have been operating heavy machinery at 2AM and crushed yourself.

That’s all I can think of being worse than what you did right now, sorry…
