I salvaged some exotic weapons from drops and got these sigils: Superior sigil of peril, smoldering, and elemental slaying. I thought to MF them to get something better since they’re worth nothing on TP. However, these sigils dont show up on the Mystic Forge screen. Is this a bug or deliberate?

For some reason, superior runes/sigils cannot be placed into the mystic forge.

I don’t know if it’s intended or not. Seems kinda inconsistent since you can throw exotic equipment into the mystic forge.

Exotic sigils and/or runes cannot be forged, where as major/minor can be placed in forge and combined to a random same rarity rune/sigil or 20% chance of a higher tier

Some exotic sigils seem to be forgable, however, since they appear in the left-hand list of items. But they aren’t forgable with each other, they must have some other recipe. And it’s only some sigils, not all of them.

If I’m not mistaken, every Legendary has a Superior Sigil in their recipe. That’s why some show up in the Mystic Forge panel.
