Guild Wars 2

I had always wanted a set of materials charts that were easy to look at for ALL Legendaries so I decided to make some. They’re 1920×1080 so they can be used as a background to help keep you motivated, easy to draw on, and good for simple comparison purposes. Feel free to let me know if you catch any errors.

This is actually really nice. Thanks for these. I’ll be using the Sunrise for only a few more weeks, but Quip, Frostfang, and Bifrost will get quite a bit of mileage.

I usually just use gw2legendary, since it has everything you’ll need (including the approximate cost of items you’ll need to buy), while also letting you check things off as you go.

That being said, great job making those! That must have taken quite some time.

my advice for everyone going for a legendary:

go for the legendary and not for other things!
if you always buy other stuff in between (other skins, spend money to gear other characters out, etc)
then you will have a hard time finishing your legendary

best thing is trying to put a certain amount of gold into your legendary everyday
and only if you still have enough gold that you farmed at that day after you took that “legendary gold” away … then you can spend it for something else

you have to get your priorities right when creating a legendary ^^

Might I suggest incorporating these into a spreadsheet? Spreadsheets are what I’ve always used to keep track of progress on my legendary weapons.

These are great, though I’d double check on a couple of the numbers. I know for a fact that when I built The Dreamer I needed 77 Mystic Clovers.

Gift of Fortune requires 77 Mystic Clovers as it states. However you can’t make 77 at a time. You can make Clovers using a 1 Clover or 10 Clover recipe. I chose to put down the 10 as it seems to be the more popular one… at least it was for me

However, they remind me that even after nearly two years of play, I am so far from acquiring all of the necessary materials so as not to need to look at the charts for another two years! Also the sheer amount of gold required (if one were to purchase most of the stuff) blows the mind. Ridiculous.

Also, the weapons’ appearance versus cost doesn’t balance out. Kinda sad that really.

my advice for everyone going for a legendary: Don’t go for it untill you get a precursor/they release scaveneger hunt.

Nice work on that art, but you should state that those clovers are only a ~33%-chance to get.

My advise would be to farm the hell out of it. Once you get one, you’ll want more.

I don’t even have one done and I want them all… Well, I don’t terribly want the underwater ones, but I could find a use for any of the others very easily.
