a great deal of crafting needs are already shared between characters on the same account (bank space and collectibles). given the already significant time investment for maxing out a single craft, it makes sense to me that the next logical step is to share crafting levels (so if one character is tailoring level 100, then all are). soulbound items are already bound to accounts, so this would just eliminate the hassle of logging onto the correct character to craft A instead of B.

thoughts?

I think that’s absolutely silly.

You asked.

In this game, it isn’t really a hassle to switch characters.

I had all 8 crafts to Legendary Grand Master in DAoC and, up until the advent of housing at least, THAT was certainly a pain to switch.

This game is extremely hassle free by comparison.

I don’t think your idea has legs, as they say, sorry.

Not a high priority…

But always good for future benefit.

Only barrier i can imagine is loss of character creation space since you have to always have your toons there.

The problem with this is that you would then lose out on the xp you would have got for crafting on your alts.
