T6 Mats for Legendaries
Try taking a break from gold farming and collect T5 mats instead for upgrading through the forge. I don’t know what you’re looking for in particular, but Mithril is crazy easy to come by. Harvest all the nodes on an Orr map and join the Zerg party. With direct gathering and salvage from loot, it shouldn’t be too hard to get a stack of 250. All of my largest stacks of materials are T5s, mainly because even if I’m in a low level map I’ll still acquire T5s from salvage.
Your profit/hour margin may go down, but your stress/hour margin should also decrease.
I get about 100 fine t6 mats per week without particularly farming them, which would mean about 4 months of regular gameplay for me to get my stacks for a legendary.
I think that is a reasonable timeframe.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
buy them with laurels.
Buy them with Laurels, or use the mystic clover x10 recipe to make them.
I got almost half of my T6 mats just making the clovers. I farmed the rest over a year.
Yeah, if you’re going for a Legendary, make the Clovers first. You’ll no doubt get a lot of T6 mats doing that. Supplement it with Laurels for Heavy Crafting Bags, and then do dungeons/farm for the rest.

What are you doing in game that can get those results consistently? What gaming time frame are you talking about? Unless you are investing an unusual amount of time, or are some sort of RNG demon, those results are highly questionable.
by level 80 should have the best statistical loot in the game.”

I mostly play WvW for 3 to 5 hours every day, so most of my drops come from heavy loot bags and champ bags, as well as from some wildlife npc mobs.
I also farm the LS for a couple of hours every week, Dry Top actually has quite a high droprate for t5-t6 mats. My MF is a little over 200%.

Still sounds VERY high. You seem to be a lot luckier than most of us. I get 10 T6 a day if that from playing the game (dungeons, Orr champ farming, world bosses, currently Dry Top) so conversion of T5 and mystic clovers not counting. I play maybe 8 hours a day+. I’m currently sitting on 116% MF.

I got around ~50 T6 today by farming mob events in Orr with 275% MF. I did this for 3-4 hours.
