T6 mats for legendary
As it stands, doing the Dust promotion, T5 dust to T6 could be useful if you farm the dust somehow, as my experience in the few times I tried recently had actually gotten me less dust than buying it would have (Granted it’s a gamble either way on amount you get)
Blood you’re certainly best off farming or doing ten clover recipe for that as the material transmuting cost 5 C dust

I have to disagree with you here. Unless you need clovers, doing the clover recipe is a huge waste of money. While yes, if you get 30-40 blood or dust you’ll be making a profit, almost any other item you receive (other than lodestones which are very rare) will be a loss.
You’d be better off selling your ecto/mystic coins and buying the mats. But since you need a stack of ecto for the gift of fortune too, I doubt you’d want to gamble them away or sell them.

Upgrading T5 to T6 is usually worse than just selling the T5 materials and buying the T6. The conversion rate is absolutely horrible. Search the forums for projected rate of return. I believe the wiki says the average return is 21 T6 materials.
I believe farming Orr is your best bet. Get tons to Heavy Moldy Bags to either sell or use outright for a chance at T6 materials. T6 materials drop at a decent rate in Orr. Plus the gold you make from the extra stuff can be used to purchase more materials off of the TP.
Mixing in some COF path 1 runs to generate some extra gold can’t hurt either.
Farmed something hardcore for the last 3 days, as I was 90g away in terms of T6 mats from completing my Incinerator:
- Farmed Karka for decent Powerful blood drops;
- Upconverted T5 blood to T6 (viable for own use of T6 blood);
- Farmed some Orr events for T6 dust and sold rest of T6 mats I got;
- Some COF1 runs here and there.
Made the money quite fast and best rate in my observation was the Karka train with the T6 blood drops.
Best of luck completing your bifrost!

thanks for your help!
I would rather spend that time farming for gold, then buy the mats.
This allows me to have a 100% chance of getting the mats I need.
My suggestion is to see what you get from your mystic clover forge uses first. You need 77 mystic clovers no matter what you do and failed attempts for mystic clovers give 2-4 random T6 mats (rarely other things like shards, ectos or lodestones) and only the wood planks, leather, oricalcum and cloth are really sadface. Since you need them anyway make them up first and see what you still need.
RNG has been kind to me and given me crystalline dust more than it really should have by a substantial amount and since I need 500 it’s been helpful. Farming Orr seems to be the best really. Some T6 mats drop and you get tons of heavy bags which can pay off. Alternatively you can buy heavy bags off the TP and gamble on a good outcome. I’ve tried buying 300 bags four separate times and had a distinctively positive result only once, two I broke more or less even. (The total value of what I got was within 1g of what I spent.) And the last time shall not be talked about again. So up to you. Really it’s just a matter of time no matter what.
Basically the best idea is to do what is most fun to you out of Karka farming, CoF, Orr and maybe a bit if Frostgorge mob slaying to mix it up and make it feel less like the grind it can be.
^ I have a question, what is the most profitable? In order to get a legendary.
