Guild Wars 2

I know they start out looking yellow, and with the latest patch, people are able to change the color to red, green, or blue, but was wondering if you could somehow save up for both red and blue and make a purple or something. Also something for the people who like orange.

I’m not saying to open it up to all of the colors they have dyes for, just to allow for the primary and secondary colors of the wheel. Or at least purple ( cause i really like purple).

I just want to be able to change my color. I built the blue one but after seeing it on my character with in game lighting I really wish I had the red one instead. Red would fit my character better. Right now in order to change color I have to start over from scratch.

I to would really like to be able to change the colour of my back piece. Maybe if we were given the option the same recipe’s could be used but instead of the Tempered Spinal Blades we could just use our existing back pieces.

So I submitted a ticket, I am sure nothing will come of it. I accidently made a red one. Stupid me, I know. I meant to make green. Because it wasn’t the color I wanted I tried to make the blue back pack and transmute it over and then split it. Something about these back packs don’t allow this to happen. I tried it 4 different times, even tried a rare at the end and it has something to do with the back.

However a guild mate is telling me they transmuted and split their wings of dwayna.
Either way I am out a lot of gold from buying transmutation splitters. :/

I’m not sure you’ll be able to change the colour of the backpiece once you have given it a colour. To be honest, I think it’s generous of Anet to let us be able to do that for a backpiece.

To answer the question, the colours were named after the three Asuran schools and their associated colours (look around the top floor of Rata Sum). I don’t think the Asuran’s would like it very much if you combined the colours of different schools for the sake of looks.

It would be awesome if we could unlock the other color somehow :/
