How come that I cant make my legend?
…Cause I know that I can still make my legend even if the item is transmuted.

I just wanna ask, Why is that my Energizer still has the saying that “This weapon is used to craft the legendary mace The Moot” How come that I cant make my legend? But the blue text is still there? I just transmuted it. Cause I know that I can still make my legend even if the item is transmuted.
Transmutation destroys the item and creates a new one that keeps the skin + stats transmuted to it.
Right now only the original precursor(non-transmuted) will work on a recipe. Same for Twilight/Sunrise → Eternity, Lidless Eye → Eye of Rodgort etc.
anything that is transmuted cannot be used as a prevursor to that intended item,
it sucks, because i transmuted my ascended backpiece, and i cant use it to make it as an infused version >.<
After performing transmutation, it doesn’t alter the weapon you have, it just creates an entirely new item, therefore the new weapon isnt recognized as a precursor, beacuse its a different item.
