So the story goes…. I spent 1600 Dungeon tokens to purchase 4 Greatswords to try a recipe in the Mystic Forge in yet another attempt to acquire a precursor. Naturaly I don’t get one. I got “Breath of Flame”, but I’m not upset, it is expected of the RNG.

I remain optimistic…

So’ s I then proceed to spend a bit O’ me hard earned gold to get another 3 GS and throw it all in the Forge for another go…. that kitten Zamarrososo gives me the same kitten sword “Breath of Flame”!!!! Of all the kitten possible greatsword skins in the vast repetoire of skins from the skin gods, I get the same kitten one!! really?!! That is not RNG, that is a virtual slap in the face.

k so next time I do that, I expect to get 2 precursors in a row.. mmmk.

Do I really need to specify how many attemps I have made?

My gripe is not that another recipe failed, but that I got the same sword twice. I feel cheated, at least another sword would have been okay.

P.S. interesting stats. 2901 tries that’s insane.

wanna hate me? day ago i bought 4 GS with tokens, threw in MF, got dawn… it was first time i ever put 4 exotic GS in MF… and i play thief too xD

I hear what your saying but the RnG is just bad luck, and its more bad than good, I threw 4 random rares into the forge about 2 months ago and The Lover dropped out, in an ironic twist it was the precursor that I wanted a year ago when I played ranger, as that class is dead to me now, I made the legendary and sold it,

The only thing we should be grateful for is that these apparent pre cursors can drop from enemies in game and the forge isn’t the only way to get them, even if the drop rate is close to 0.0000000000000000001%

Honestly if I where you id start hoarding all mats etc and wait for the precursor crafting to come out.

anyone gotten a precursor using 3 exotics and a mystic forge stone or did everyone use 4 exotics?

this is just the beginig of your pain ! get ready to trow thousends of gold in the mf ! a lot more then just to save up and buy it
but what is going to happen if everyone try to save up and buy it ?
we will have 1 dusk costing 1000 gold ?

we need precursor craft !
