Being an Engineer you only have 2 choices when your making a legendary. You can either make the Quip or the Predator. For my build and play style i use the rifle only, so i had to make the predator… It took a lot of hard work to complete it, especially how everything is so inflated right now like the lodestones.

Once i finished it, it did not feel legendary to me at all. No one even notices it unless you link it, the particle effects on it is little to non existant and does not even surpass some of the exotic skins. It is very depressing seeing epic legendaries like the 2 greatswords and the hammer, comparing the predator to those is no comparison. I know there are other legendaries very lack luster compared to those, for example my other weapon the Quip out right sucks.

So i ended up not even using the predator anymore, it sits in my bank. I now rock the wintersday pop rifle because i believe it is a lot better then the
Predator. I would like to see Arenanet give some attention to these lack luster legendaries, they all take a lot of effort to craft so it makes sense if they are all equally as epic to eachother… This would impact the engineer class greatly since we have only 2 choices for legendary weapon skins and as of right now they are both terrible.

^ Only 2 I’ve seen I’ve noticed out of combat but the people where glad to show them off.

In combat, it’s hard not to notice them.

I always play with sounds off and my music on, so I would miss out on 50% of my legendary?

For one, it would make a huge difference if the engineer actually used the scope with the Predator…

Pretty much, yes. But to be fair, that’s how it is with most of them.

Predator is supposed to be a sniper rifle, so it kinda makes sense that it has a more stealthy design. I actually hate that it IS noticeable with the flames…

At least I’m not competing with you for the precurrsor on my engineer.

There are few detail what you maybe didnt notice on first look, like bipod change ect. Projectile and sound are best part of weapon. Ofc greatswords looks much better.
