Have you tried transmuting your existing exotic armor to your ascended so you can get either the rune or the skin? Because when I tried it with mine, it wouldn’t let me. And if it’s as intended, then that means people with T3 armor has no way of transferring the skin to ascended.

I had to use transmutation splitters first, then transmutation stones on my exotic flamekissed armor in order to get the skin and runes.

I really hope it’s just a bug. I already filed a ticket on customer support.

I see. Then this must be a bug exclusive to the flamekissed armor skin. -_- I hope customer support reimburses my expenses just to transfer that skin if it isn’t intended.

@Leo, I posted a pic on the other thread. I did use a transmute stone to get the runes off, and to keep the skin I had, considering the skin I used that may be why I was able to.

I would like to ask if anyone else had a problem transmuting from exotic to ascended. The gms replied to my ticket and said that they could not replicate the bug.

To be more specific in how it happened to me, I crafted my set using an alt, placed the set in the bank, and wore it on my main. I didn’t like the look so I tried to transmute my current exotic set (wvw berserker exotic armor with flamekissed skin and divinity runes) to the ascended set, but regardless of how I placed the items, the other panel would be red. Anyone else who encountered this problem so we can specify how this bug is acquired?

Also, i dunno if this info is pertinent to the bug or not, but I made my set immediately upon the release of ascended armors.
