I have the Phalanx armor with Scholar rune. Can i transmute it to ascended gear and keep appearance and rune, and the stats and infusion slot from the ascended?
Yes you can. It functions in the exact same way that transmuting a basic, fine, masterwork, or rare, to exotic works. I’m guessing your major question is whether you keep your infusion slot or not which is the case.
