Guild Wars 2

Anyone know if this will be possible? Regarding the upcoming asc weapons and armor. About to blow a lot of gold on an exotic weapon and don’t want to waste it. Thanks!

I’ve seen a screenshot of someone transumting a Mad Memories skin http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mad_Memories:_Complete_Edition onto an ascended back piece if that’s what you’re talking about.
I haven’t tried the same myself though.

Transmuting means transmutation crystals. Transmutation is both a part of the core of the game and a source of income for ANet. Why would they restrict it?

Not going to lie, I’d use (waste?) Transmutation Crystals to on trinkets if I could.

It would serve little to no purpose as accessories aren’t visually shown but I would probably waste transmutation crystals on this as well. I would rather have mesmer-centric fashion statements than half of the ascended items that I don’t even know, or care, for the stories behind them.

I put the crystal dragon wings skin on the ascended scelerite backpack – and now I have ascended grade stats crystal wings that I can move to any of my 80th level characters at any time .

(that back item is account bound, not soul bound)

Just remember not to infuse your transmuted back pieces or you’ll lose the skin.
