Transmuting Legendary
agree, Why Legendary cant even choose his stat? This is make no sense.
I would like an answer on this as well still.
The latest offitial response I saw about “legendary transmutation issue” was like “we are not sure if it’s a bug”… Actually it’s not a bug. It’s “by design”. Rarity = stats. If you transmutate exotic skin with masterwork stats you will have masterwork item as a result. But they should add an exception in case of legendary weapons. I believe ANet will fix it in feature.
It saps the Legendary part out of these weapons that the stats are so bland. And i got no real control over them, transmuting makes it lose Legendary status. And it wont get boosted to Ascended when that time comes around.
Cant we just choose the stats we want? It takes a ton of effort to get one of those, im working on one myself. Just add an NPC for all i care that just lets you choose the stats. Or a simple mystic forge recipe involving the legendary, a transmutation stone, some crystals and a T6 mat. the T6 mat would corrospond with certain stats, like Scales = knight = power/tough/prec and Blood = berserker = power/prec/critdmg
Yes, it may be easier for us to switch weapon stats when we want to, but kitten that should be part of the reward for getting one of these.
I recently sent a ticket about this and they told me that it was a bug. That was the only answer I got which tells me that it should get boosted to Ascended stats as soon as they get the “bug” fixed.
