Will transmuting a prototype fractal capacitor with an infused book/quiver upgrade the prototype to a Beta Fractal capacitor? (Example: Prototype Skin—>infused book/quiver stats = Beta Fractal capacitor) or will it remain a prototype with infused stats.

Transmuting merely takes the appearance, stats, and sockets of two items and allows you to combine them how you want. It will not upgrade your capacitor.

Ok thanks. I guess I have to farm up another 250 ectos

I will not advice you to transmute the prototype until you get the beta version. I didn’t know and when my prototype became a beta, the skin changed back the original skin.
