Does this recipe exist or are we out of luck on this venture?

I don’t think there is a “tray”, but Spicy Pumpkin Cookie is, imo, way better than omnomberry bars. It’s what I used while farming world events till I got my Twilight.

If you watch, you’ll see that mobs don’t drop gold hardly at all, so imo, the extra 15 min and 5% exp (you can make tons of gold from your skill points) is totally worth the tradeoff in the loss of the gold boost.

Plus they’re about 1/4 the price of omnomberry bars.

I think these are a forlorn hope. I stockpiled a bunch of candy corn hoping to make these trays, but I can kind of see why there’s no tray.

1) It’s a holiday item. Maybe it repeats next year, maybe they have some other food item for Halloween 2013. In either case it would be “unfair” for folks who joined the game after Halloween 2012.

2) it’s already a 45 minute buff. Tray form would be 1hr 30 minutes. For game balance reasons Anet may not want such an awesome buff to last so long.

It may be my inner blonde speaking but how does one turn skill points into cash? I haven’t done much crafting research so please forgive the ignorance.

Recipes for trays come from the Mystic Forge. Zommoros requires skill points in the form of Crystals in exchange for the recipes.

I use omnom bars when running dungeons and the cookies at Orr.
40% gold from the easier bosses pays for the bars
