Maybe this is a silly question, but why would anyone craft the pendant, which requires 750 piles of Crystalline Dust and other materials besides, when one could simply spend 30 laurels on Syzygy?

I’m assuming that if we were comparing effective cost of laurels, 30 laurels would definitely be under the 200+ gold on the TP for the Triforge?

Because ascended grade didn’t exist when Triforge recipe was made and it was the only Celestial Amulet at the time.

People who made Triforge before ascended amulets requested for a way to be able to make it ascended because of the cost involved and Anet fulfilled their requests.

Of course no one would probably craft it now, its more for the people who crafted it before ascended amulet, and who knows maybe Anet will use it for a legendary amulet in the future too

It matters to collectors. The Triforge has unique text and is a reference that Zelda fans would appreciate. So ultimately, it’s not just about stats, but also the item itself.

I know as silly as it souds, I actually might try to craft one just because of the Zelda flavor text!

Also, the Triforge pendant while not upgraded (and the crafted celestial amulet) have the option of using a normal Jewel instead of an infusion slot. I’m using it with a exquisite ruby jewel.

Protip: Have a Jewelcrafter convert crystals to orbs.
