1. Will there ever be some feature to change or choose what stats to have on a Legendary weapon? (Besides transmuting Exotic stats onto it – I want my weapon to remain Legendary and get stat increase when Ascended weapons come out)

2. Will Sunrise and Twilight ever grant a Legendary account medal and achievement?

That’s correct. Kind of odd considering they are the most expensive Legendaries by a decent margin.

Well that’s ridiculous… Do you need eternity to get the medal?

1: Transmuting will give you a weapon with the stats you want and the look you worked for. Don’t do it now since its bugged and you will have the exotic status instead of the legendary on the weapon.

2: They don’t fulfill the medal indeed. Eternity does it. Quite…. awkward I’d say.

Thanks for this but these are more of a preface to my questions rather than answers. Has ANet said anything about fixing that transmuting bug, or about Legendary weapons retaining and upgrading their transmuted stats when Ascended weapons come out?

So if I want my legendary account medal, I need to create two of the harder legendaries to make?
(I’m in the process of making sunrise)
But someone who makes a focus…

Just because it’s a focus doesn’t mean it’s not hard to make. In fact half the process of getting a legendary is common. I don’t get why anyone would go for the focus considering how ugly it is, but I for example am almost done with Dragon Maw, and it still has taken me a good 2-3 months to make

I’m waiting like a week for devs to comment on GS Legendary bug. But I guess fixing account medals is a luxury, when game is ridden with far more serious bugs.

I have a feeling that it’s a bug because the game ‘knows’ that Twilight and Sunrise are legendary weapons and the achievement is for ‘equipping a legendary weapon’ so surely equipping either should unlock the achievement!?

Anet – please fix that.
