Hello this is related to ascended crafting.

I like that Anet allows us to craft all the types of stats in ascended but what about the necessary orichalcum insignias???

For example I wish to make the sentinel’s ascended weapons but I can’t craft the necessary sentinel insignia, I have to buy it off TP for 9 gold each.

So I have a question to Anet : Will I be able to craft it? After all since you allow us to acraft all the ascended insignias why not all the exotic ones?

They are available at the Guild Commendations vendor for 10 Commendations and 80 silver.

U cant have all types of stats … no givers insignias…

I thought there were sentinel insigs on the laurel vendor

Oh nice thanks but I still think they should be made craftable but it’s nice to know I won’t have to spend a crazy amount of gold for them

10 commendations is alot for them, i would buy from tp for a 6-7G buy order.

Insignias are for crafting armor and inscriptions are for crafting weapons, just to clarify. You can’t make a weapon with an insignia.

Currently Soldier’s and Rabid exotic inscriptions can be obtained through salvaging exotic gear with those stats but it’s not guaranteed.

However this still brings us at to WHY not make all ori inscriptions available through craft and therefore truly available to all in a fair manner?

Since all fine crafting mats are taken I guess a combination of 2 of these would do to fix it

You can salvage those exotics with the same stats and the only guarantee comes from using the store version of the salvage kits which give 100% chance of removing a sigil or rune safely from anything you salvage.

I’ve personally received these kits from the personal story rewards after reaching level 80 and from map completion

Getting the inscription with the Black Lion Salvage kit is very high but not actually guaranteed.
