Some ideas I would like to discuss with you:
I think it would be nice if the discover panel, when empty, included the total undiscovered recipes. That way, it’s easier to know if you’re missing any, mostly the composite ones (made of 100% mixed ingredients).
Also, it would be nice if there was some special reward, title, medal or just an achievement, for those who discover all the recipes. Right now, it’s pointless to spend money crafting stuff from lower levels you won’t use in any way (like a level 400 jeweler crafting copper stuff he missed when he started).
Finally, switching disciplines is too expensive, and makes leveling more than 2 per character inefficient and a waste of money, when you can just give the ingredients to an alt. Wouldn’t it be better if the game encouraged leveling up the 8 disciplines on every character?
What do you guys think of this?
whats with people this gen and achievements?are their kitten that small they need to brag with every little chance they get?
if you got ocd then you can level all crafts on all characters but its just a waste of money especially when achievements are account bound.next people are going to be asking to make each achievements character bound?
I’m not overly fussed about the first point.
On the second, I think levelling up all 8 on the same toon is a little redundant, partly because you have to re-farm all the materials that you got while playing through the game. If you do it on a fresh toon you’ll very quickly acquire the appropriate materials as you level so it’s less of a rehash on the same character.
Personally, I’ll be having characters with two disciplines each, spending money to switch seems like a waste to me.

When you play another character you replay everything you already played with your previous one, why should disciplines be forced to be different? No one’s going to stop you from having 2 per character, it’s all about giving new options to the players.

Then why aren’t disciplines account bound? More options and rewards are always good.
