A normal weapon sigil can be slotted here?

Thanks in advance. I’ll probably have my Greatsword today (dragonite… shards…) but I’m thinking ahead to my next pieces. If a normal weapons sigil can be placed in the Unused Upgrade Slot, then I’m fine. If not, I may want to keep my secondary set for their sigil effects and switch to Greatsword, or back to the secondary at the right moment.

Yes, ascended weapons can hold normal weapon sigils (in addition to one or two offensive infusions)
