Hello,

I recently discovered that for Zealot and Celestial Armor/Weapons, recipes are required.

I was curious if there are other types of gear Cleric’s or Assassin’s also require recipes or if they’re available through discovery.

I think that Settler’s is the only other one. There are also a few curious insignias that can’t be crafted, mostly those found as medallions or crests (soldier, rabid, shaman and magi, but not assassin), but can be salvaged from exotics. Then there is sentinel’s which, AFAIK, could only be attained as a drop during Flame and Frost, but might also be available in the Molten Facility fractal.

All the stats are here, compare with your available stats with 400 crafting, the ones missing need a recipe you can buy/salvage.

You can buy Sentinel’s insignia/inscriptions with guild commendations.

Celestial and zealot are the only one where you cant discover the gear but need a recipe for every single one. The inscriptions/insignias you talk of, or not craftable but the corresponding gear is craftable after discovery. Sentinel insignias/inscriptions can be salvaged from exotic sentinel gear that is not crafted. Unfortunately that exotic gear only dropped from the flame and frost and recently from the LA Events, so they are expensive as well.

Not only those, but also items like godskull (grawl) need recipes. They can be bought at karma vendors throughout all of tyria

Sentinel insignias/inscriptions can be salvaged from exotic sentinel gear that is not crafted. Unfortunately that exotic gear only dropped from the flame and frost and recently from the LA Events, so they are expensive as well.

You can also purchase Sentinel insignias/inscriptions from the Guild Commendation trader (I think it’s 80 silver + 10 Commendations each).

You can discover all those armor types where you can buy the receipe for the insignia at the crafting NPC.
