Im planning on going for my first legendary i play basically a guardian and a warrior and was wondering what type of weapon i should go for with those types of classes?

Not necessarily the easiest though just a legendary haha

What do you use the most? Shield? Mace? Greatsword? Staff? There are so many useful weapons for a guard. I personally am making Sunrise atm for my guard but i’d make what you use and like the most.

what sauzo said. a legendary cost huge amount of gold and more to create regardless of which one you choose. thats why you should pick one you like and one you would use a lot. use youtube to see the different legendary and their effects.

if you just pick a legendary at random and you end up not liking it, it would be a waste of effort and resources. some people dont event make legendary but go for one of the exotics created with recipe in the mystic forge that look awesome but cost a lot to make as well.

I crafted he juggernaut for two reasons..

1. is that one of my more decked out alts is a support based guardian that favors the hammer.

2. I was lucky enough to have the mystic toilet cough up he precursor. Which was probably the main reason i went for it.

My advice is the same as the othes. Look at the character you like playing the moSt and what weapo. You are usually weilding / enjoy.

Yes it is rough getting all that you need but it is so worth it once it is yours. (For me at least)

Edit: thought of third reason: one of the few legendaries that I don’t see every 2 feet.

I’d go for “The Flameseeker Prophecies” on your guardian. It’s one of the less-common legendary weapons, with a beautiful skin that fits a guardian perfectly. You also don’t have to worry about a 750g precursor, although you’d still need 100 onyx lodes.

I’m going for the Moot on my guardian because the precursor was cheap, it’s so shiny, and I love Mace. I’d say run around and try out ALL the weapons on your characters. Find the one you love the most and work towards it. You could even start working on the Gift of Fortune and Mastery while choosing. Those are interchangeable.
The precursor can be the hardest part, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re waffling over something like the greatsword or the shield.
