Salvaged 20 exotics with mystic salvage kit and get zero globs of dark matter. RNG is worst than the clovers.

What level were the erotics?

I use level 80 exotics with BL kits and get an average of 1 or 2 per salvage. You can get zero though. I suppose with some horrid luck you could go 0 for 20, but it’s more likely that you were using under level ones.

Not sure how low it can go but it doesn’t have to be 80. 70 will also work.

It looks like they have a constant drop chance. I tried to salvage ’em with all type of kits and drop chance is ~15-20%

I’ve salvaged 5 dropped exotics since the patch and gotten 3 dark matter per exotic three times, 1 and 0 dark matter per exotic once.
(One of the exotics I got 3 dark matter from was a lvl 79 ring, rest was lvl 80)

Protip: Do dungeons and turn in the tokens for soldier/rabid/dire gear. Salvage those and you have a chance at an inscription of that type plus ectos plus globs of dark matter. Those inscriptions sell well or can be used for your own crafting to 500 needs.
