I’m new to the game.

I just picked up tailoring and was interested in crafting and using:

Satchel of Ravaging Acolyte Armor

I realize I need a recipe to do this…or do I? Is this done at the mystic forge or do I need to find and learn the tailoring recipe.

Also, can I purchase this recipe from a vendor as I cannot find it on the TP.

Thanks so much.

I think you get it from the mystic forge.

I believe those are all discovered in the forge based on the crafting materials needed. Check “satchel …” On wiki. Sry, bad linking with phone. Good luck

“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

Yes, in order to learn that recipe, you need a recipe sheet for it that you learn (consume). It is made in the mystic forge and you will need the following:

1 Coat of ravaging acolyte chest armor (fine or masterwork)
Bottles of Elonian Wine (from Mystic Forge Merchant or on TP)
Mystic Coins (TP or earned through dailies/monthlies)
Crystals (from Mystic Forge Merchant for skillpoints)

The last 3 ingredients you have to check how much you need (it depends on the level, so i dont know exactly), but if you put all 4 ingredients into the forge, it will tell you how much you need.

Keep in mind though that crafting the satchel will take as much mats as crafting all 6 armor pieces individually, while you lose all the mats that went into forging the recipe.

The reson why you didnt find the recipe on the tp is because no one ever tried to sell one.
