I only need 250 more spinal blades for the ascended version. Where are some places I can still farm spinal blades?

The Not So Secret jumping puzzle and Twilight Armor aetherpath.

You can also use the Mystic Forge recipe http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blade_Shard

Aetherblades in EotM should also drop them from time to time, but are much harder to kill.

You don’t have the watchwork sprocket node in your home instance, do you? That still gives ~3-4 shards per node.

I answered this in another thread. There needs to be a merge for this.

The answer is mystic forge sprokets. Look up how in wiki.
