So. I’m trying to grind all my t6 mats. I know people keep saying to buy them, but I would rather do it the old fashion way. Where is the best place now? Orr seems to have been nerfed, I went away from game for a while….. So where now?

I get decent amounts of T5 from champ farming in frostgorge, i just use the forge to upgrade them later. T6 also drop frequently

If everyone did that for when they needed T6 mats then the actual supply would be lower. What you buy from the TP must have come from somewhere. Despite the occasional drop, I would not say that the all supplies on the TP could have come from more casual people who just happened to get it. There have to be at least some people who farm it them.

Just because there’s supply on the BLTP, it doesn’t mean they were specifically “farmed.” It’s just means they were acquired through other activities in the game (e.g. Champ farming).

Anet nerfed T6 mat farming a long time ago. If you really want to farm the mats, you certainly can do so; everyone knows who/what drops them. You can go farm grawl, barracuda, trolls, spiders, etc., but I guarantee you will not have much success. This is a fact and not my opinion. It’s the reason you never see people farming these places.

Run dungeons, champion trains and temples for gold and loot. Sell and salvage that, buy T6 mats on the BLTP. It’s more fun, and more profitable.

Killed a blue ooze and a tiny blue ooze in the Frostgorge jp and got two T6 mats, just as one example. 94%, can only imagine what this is like when it’s maxed.

This one does, The shores of South sun have proven quite lucrative and appeases one nicely.

well. I have 154% atm and did not see massive increase of T6 drops. They do happen, sure, but not that many as they used to when I had 60% MF.

Still, running Orr champ trains + event here and there gives you enough Heavy Moldy Bags and champ boxes with stuff to salvage to give you constant supply of T6. You won’t farm whole stacks 1 day but still enough to craft stuff for yourself/alts r even make a decent profit on TP.

As other people have said, farming specific t6 mats is not a good plan since it is incredibly inefficient. But if you really insist on taking the long route…

I suggest guesting on higher-tiered servers and doing temple runs. i.e. TC/NSP

Moldy bags are a good source or t5/t6.
