Who on earth is Yakkington?!
Yakkington is one of the most well known, like characters in GW1. He was a Dolyak that accompanied Nicholas Sandford who was a trader that traveled throughout the world & would reward players with gifts in exchange for (x) number of items that would change each week.
You can find Yakkington & Nicholas in GW2 resting within Ebonhawke’s cemetary. One of many characters I will deeply miss forever.
Speaking of which… I hope they bring this back in some fashion. It’s something to work towards each week
Well I guess that explains the weirdness about it. Pity it’s a magic find exotic though… probably won’t sell it for much.
Unique Skins actually tend to sell well.
Except it is not Unique as presumably other people can also get it from Mystic Forge? (unique means there is only 1).
Lvl 80 Axes : Rare: 483; Exotic: 4 – Frostfang: 0
Lvl 80 Swords : Rare: 20; Exotic: 0 – Zap: 0
Or, another translation, is a skin unique to a single item. So there is only 1 way to get the skin, and if it is not a mystic forge recipe but rather a random combine, then it is rare by default.
I’m not sure if it has a unique skin, but it might.
same skin as this

Or really all pit fighter helms, which are cheap. So prob not worth that much.
named armors are exotics, and come in sets, but all look the same to their respective weight class of course
I think Yakkington’s is the heavy version, there’s also like Devona and Rurik, other GW1 armors
Yakkington was a brave soul who survived the Searing and traveled the world with his pet human Nicholas. They went on to have many adventures throughout the GW world
Yeah, just a heavy pit fighter skin AFAIK.
