You can sell the deldrimor steel ingots, spiritwood planks and the deldrimor steel plated dowels. You can also sell the ascended inscriptions.

I.e. you need to level crafting if you want to sell them.

For example: Piles of Bloodstone Dust and Empyreal Fragmens.
I do not have 1000g for craft and ascended weapon.

You don’t need anywhere near 1000g to level your crafting to 500.

Just save those mats and level your crafting at the pace you can afford it. Don’t sweat. Each ascended weapon will require 500 of each of those dust and fragments (and dragonite ore) so it will be good to start stocking them early.

If you want to make some money in the meantime, level your crafting to 450, craft your daily Deldrimor Steel Ingot and Spiritwood Plank and sell them in the TP for some nice profit.

It just costs 200 gold instead.

Or you can just take your time and sell Ancient Wood logs fo 12-15s apiece while the rush lasts. 36-75s per node is not bad.

Look. I don’t play that terribly often. When I play I prefer to do WvW. I don’t want to be forced to grind out content for materials. It makes me hate that content. They have introduced a very serious grind to get ascended weapons, and I can’t imagine this will be any better a grind for ascended armor.

I don’t make much money in game. A good WvW night I might make 1 gold for 2 hours. I made more gold running invasions for 40 minutes then I did doing WvW for a week. Which means, for me to realistically get ascended stuff I either cut out WvW and Roleplaying with my limited time to grind PvE, or I just never get it. But then I am locked out of the highest teir of weapons, which is something I thought was against the game philosophy.

I do not play this game to grind. I hate grinding. I’ll run content two or three times to see it and enjoy it. But after that, it starts to become dull. One of the reasons I picked up GW2 was a perceived stance of anti grind. And there was. Exotics were not hard to get. But now this ascended stuff is coming out and suddenly we are back into the same archetypes all MMOs have, and if I liked that sort of thing I’d play WoW.

Well then you’re just out of luck, I guess. The “there is no grind in GW2” flew out of the window already with Ascended trinkets. Wait until the ascended armor comes and the real grind begins.
