Ok for some reason the search function wouldn’t work when I tried to see if this been addressed. Ok we can craft alot of nice stuff but I don’t understand why these two items were left off the craftable list?

Cause as it stands all it means we are stuck with a heart krama vendor stats for aquabreathers and seems to be only at every 15 levels. Thought this would been part of the armor crafts line as it’s got light, medium, and heavy descriptions.

Also as for the back piece all I seen have been via story line reward and only 2 of them one at lv 30 and the other at lv 80, which to me is too big a gap and again limited stat group otions being only 3. Thought at the time it would have been inculded in the jewelery craft as it’s an accessory.

So if someone knows the answer(s) it would be much apperciated.

1. As why these aren’t part of the craft options and if they will be inculded into the craft recipes?

2. Or will we be able to buy the back piece from krama merchents then?

3. If it be only by krama merchent will the selection for the stats be increase so we can buy the stats we want?

I don’t think any players will have the answer to this.

For the back item, I think they wanted to make it an item that you could only obtain via personal story. I think it’s good to have a unique reward from the story line, to encourage you to actually follow the story line and reward you for doing so.

I doubt that they’ll make the back item craftable by that logic. They will probably add a greater variety of back items in future content patches or perhaps expansions. As they are, I can see a very real potential that they’ll just get patched out as an unnecessary and uninteresting design decision.

The aquabreathers just feel like they didn’t get around to addressing the item properly at all. Perhaps they simply forgot about it or didn’t have time to flesh the idea out. It seems like a waste to make these craftable, since it has such a minor influence on game play. They’d have to add in quite a lot of them to follow the current crafting pattern, or they’d have to deviate heavily from their current crafting pattern. Underwater weapons are already in very low demand, so underwater armor is just not going to be a big ticket item any time soon. Do you really want to have to think about amassing components for a level 80 high end crafted aquabreather? Neither do I. I expect they’ll get more attention if they release a heavily-water influenced content patch or expansion. Even then, I expect they’ll likely be a karma item.

Does anyone know if you can get the back items from guild merchants? something about being able to get them with your guild logo on it or something like that. Or is it just a skin?

That’s (I guess) a beta recipe that is no longer valid.

You can buy a Rare Quality backpiece from the “guild armorer” if your guild has unlocked it. It’s kinda expensive though (5 gold) but it’s the best in the game so far!

You can make aquabreathers in the mystic forge. I made one at random (sorry, I don’t remember the combination) when I was in my 40’s and just messing around with random blue/green items. Sadly the aquabreather I received was soul-bound and cloth (i wear heavy armor) so I ended up destroying it (couldn’t sell it or break it down). Would be nice to know if anyone else has made one.

If you couldn’t salvage it and it was soulbound then it was a karma vendor item. I’ve had the mystic forge spit them out before and its annoying as hell when you cant use them.

I haven’t tried it myself. Have you tried it and it doesn’t work? If so, my apologies.

I have crafted several of these. They are low level and only for heavy armor with not all that helpful stats.

You can purchase the back pack from the guild armor vendor with your guild logo on it, but its pretty pricey!
