Cost wise I mean. In every other craft the jump from Rare to Exotic 80 include a jump from T5 to T6 mats plus the 5 additional Ecto which is not needed by the rare recipes. The rare recipes of Jewelry on the other hand requires 3 Ectos, and I see a few problem with this:

- Why does a rare recipes requires 3 Exotic components?
- Given the cost, the rare Jelwery is not even worth it to make since you might as well make the Exotic.
- The cost of rare as well as the jump in cost to Exotic for Jelwery is quite out of line comparing to all other craft.

Probably because it is soooo easy and cheap to level jewelery 1-375 these last 25 levels are as small compensation. Leveling any other craft which needs Fine crafting materials is several times more expensive then jewelery anyway…

Player plays the game. MetaKitten plays the DPS meter on the golem.

I agree that jeweling is easy to level, but that’s still no reason to make rares cost 3 ectos. It makes the whole rare-80 jewelry obsolete, because nobody is going to waste 3 ectos on a rare, when 5 are needed for an exotic.

The worst part: You dont know that 3 rare stones with 1 ecto each are needed for a rare until you try to discover the first rare item.

I can’t wait until ANet releases the game promoted in the manifesto.
Until that, I’ll play GW2.
