Hi,

Does anyone know why crafted armor change appearance with every “new” kind of metal but crafted weapons/shield almost looks the same? It’s a little boring to make a mithril shield and it looks almost the same as a bronze shield.

80% of crafted armour and weapons look terrible, tbh. Even the lvl 80 exotic ones. The 80 exo weapons look just like lvl 10 blues.

I guess its to urge you to go for alternate skins. Skins are the “end game gear grind” here.

They’re about even, actually. The blue/green weapons are all the same, but the rares change with each new material set. Blue/green armour changes with each new material set but the rares are always the same (at least this is true for armoursmith, which always gives ‘gladiator’ rare skins).
